Business Development Manager – Construction Plant Hire

About the role

DHS Complete Hire is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its construction plant hire business across Dublin and Leinster. You will create a forecast pipeline of projects, nurture existing accounts, and drive new sales for plant, powered access, and small tools.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of construction projects and hire opportunities.
• Win new business and develop key accounts within the construction sector.
• Collaborate with hire desk teams to convert leads into sales.
• Promote full‑hire solutions across plant, access and tools.
• Support customers with training, product updates and cross‑sell initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience in the construction supply chain, preferably plant and powered‑access hire.
• Proven B2B sales track record with a strong commercial mindset.
• Excellent customer service and ability to manage a CRM pipeline.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a defined territory.

Required skills

• Experience with cloud‑based CRM platforms.
