About the role
The Grangegorman Development Agency is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the delivery of its urban quarter development strategy. Reporting to the Board, the CEO will provide overall strategic direction, ensure statutory compliance and drive public‑benefit outcomes across education, health and community facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement the Agency’s vision and 5‑year strategy (2026‑2030) and the Masterplan for the Grangegorman Urban Quarter.
- Maintain governance, accountability and compliance with the Grangegorman Development Agency Act and relevant government policies.
- Oversee financial management, reporting, risk and audit functions to ensure value for public money.
- Establish and monitor a performance‑management framework with measurable goals and outcomes.
- Represent the Agency in negotiations with government and key stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships.
- Lead change initiatives and ensure effective implementation of policy decisions.
Required profile
- Senior‑level experience in public or private sector leadership.
- Proven ability to develop and sustain productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Authority and credibility to operate in a complex public arena.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision‑making capabilities.
