About the role

Foodhub is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead its global technology strategy, platform development, and engineering organisation. Based in Dublin with a remit across multiple continents, the CTO will shape the long‑term technical vision while ensuring day‑to‑day operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute Foodhub’s global technology strategy aligned with business growth plans.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team to shape long‑term company strategy and innovation roadmap.
• Oversee design, development, and delivery of the core platform, products, and services, ensuring scalability and resilience.
• Drive best practices in software development, architecture, and engineering excellence.
• Build, lead, and scale a high‑performing global engineering and technology function.
• Ensure technology capabilities support reliability, competitive advantage, and rapid market expansion.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
• Travel regularly to international markets to support teams, align strategy, and drive execution.
