About the role
Scopely is seeking a Client Engineer to strengthen the Unity‑based client for Star Trek Fleet Command. You will work within the Live Games Portfolio division, focusing on the systems, tooling, and infrastructure that keep the game running smoothly across Android, iOS, and PC.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain shared client systems such as asset loading, UI, memory tracking, patching, and performance monitoring.
- Identify and resolve performance, stability, and scalability issues across the client.
- Collaborate with Backend, DevOps, QA, and gameplay teams to improve workflows and integrations.
- Support Unity upgrades and platform integrations for Android, iOS, and PC.
- Enhance code modularity, reliability, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and collaborative problem‑solving.
Required profile
- 3+ years of professional experience with Unity and C# development.
- Experience building game systems, shared frameworks, tools, or platform‑related features.
- Strong debugging and problem‑solving abilities, especially for performance and memory issues.
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
