About the role
The Commercial Manager will join a medium‑sized residential developer’s senior management team, overseeing a portfolio of six live projects ranging from 80 to 300 units. Based in Dublin, the role operates under a hybrid working model and requires strong experience in Ireland or the UK construction market.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of surveyors across multiple development projects.
- Manage commercial aspects of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Ensure cost control, budgeting and financial reporting for each project.
- Coordinate with design, construction and sales teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain and expand the company’s land bank through strategic commercial planning.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large residential developments in Ireland or the UK.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement procedures and commercial risk management.
