Construction Contracts Manager

About the role
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of 3–5 live construction projects across Dublin and the surrounding area, including high‑rise residential developments valued between €20 million and €30 million and public‑sector fit‑out and refurbishment works. This senior leadership position ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee 3–5 concurrent construction projects.
- Provide leadership and support to Project Managers, Site Managers and project teams.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, programmes and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project specifications.
- Maintain client relationships as the senior point of contact throughout delivery.
- Review and manage contracts, variations, claims and commercial risks.
- Lead project review meetings and report progress to senior management.
- Oversee procurement strategies and subcontractor performance.
- Drive health and safety, quality and environmental standards across all projects.
- Support tender reviews, pre‑construction planning and business growth initiatives.
Required profile
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of construction industry experience.
- Previous experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager or similar senior leadership role.
- Proven delivery of large‑scale residential, multi‑storey or high‑rise projects.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong commercial and contractual management abilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with public‑sector projects and fit‑out contracts is highly desirable.
- Full clean driving licence.
