Construction Safety Advisor (Spanish Speaker)

About the role

Holland Safety is seeking a Construction Safety Advisor who is fluent in Spanish and English to support our clients in the construction sector. You will work on‑site to assess health and safety practices, develop policies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior consultants in developing and improving Health & Safety Management Systems, including documentation and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections across diverse construction sites.
• Prepare and present detailed safety reports with recommendations, gap analysis, and action plans.
• Provide on‑site safety supervision, ensuring project‑specific requirements are met.
• Develop and manage documentation to meet internal and external standards.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance, best practices, and emerging safety trends.
• Deliver training and toolbox talks to client teams to foster a safety‑first culture.
• Stay updated on current safety regulations, industry standards, and innovations.

Required profile

• Level 7 qualification (or equivalent) in Health & Safety.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a safety officer.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or plant and machinery environments.
• Full, clean EU driver’s licence.
