Construction Site Manager

About the role

BHA is looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead daily operations on a residential housing project. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will coordinate all on‑site activities, ensure compliance with plans and regulations, and maintain a safe, productive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of construction work according to project plans, specifications, building codes and safety standards.
• Supervise site personnel, subcontractors and suppliers, managing procurement of materials, equipment and tools.
• Develop and monitor construction schedules, resource plans and budgets in collaboration with the Contracts Manager and Planner.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks and safety meetings, addressing any issues that could affect progress or quality.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including progress reports, change orders and quality records.
• Foster effective communication with architects, engineers, stakeholders and resolve conflicts promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role, preferably on residential housing projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, building codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, team‑management and communication abilities.
• Ability to develop and enforce construction schedules, budgets and quality standards.
