Construction Site Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Construction Site Manager to lead on‑site activities for renewable energy projects. The role covers the entire project lifecycle, from mobilisation through commissioning and post‑installation support, ensuring efficient delivery within budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure work complies with project plans, specifications, and timelines.
• Implement and enforce health and safety policies, conduct regular inspections, and address safety concerns.
• Maintain quality standards through inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Manage site resources—labour, materials, equipment—to maximise productivity and minimise waste.
• Communicate progress to senior management and liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety records.
• Monitor project expenditures, control costs, and identify savings opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction management experience, preferably on renewable energy projects.
• Relevant certifications in construction management and health & safety.

Required skills

• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
