Contract Manager – Construction/Civil Engineering

About the role

This senior Contract Manager role will oversee the delivery of a major construction project or multiple sites for a well‑established Irish contractor. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget targets are met while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project delivery across one or multiple sites
• Manage and develop site teams to drive performance
• Build strong relationships with clients, design teams and stakeholders
• Oversee programme planning, budgets and cost control together with QS teams
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality standards
• Drive quality through to handover, including documentation and close‑out
• Anticipate risks, solve problems and coordinate subcontractors
• Support business development and contribute to securing future work

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding
