Cyber Security Risk Analyst – Dublin (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Cyber Security Risk Analyst to join a growing Dublin‑based team on a permanent basis. The role is hybrid, requiring one day per week on site, and focuses on establishing and maintaining a strong security posture across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for information security matters related to service delivery and operations.
• Promote security awareness and understanding of policies and processes throughout the organisation.
• Identify, assess, and monitor information security risks in collaboration with risk owners.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and ensure alignment with policies, regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop, maintain, and improve security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support third‑party risk management, defining and assessing security requirements for suppliers and outsourced services.
• Lead or contribute to security initiatives and improvement projects, driving automation where appropriate.

Required profile

• A degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in information security or related IT roles with strong exposure to risk management and control design.
• Broad knowledge of security technologies, architectures, and ISMS, plus familiarity with ISO 27001, COBIT, DORA and NIS2.
• Experience using data, reporting, automation or AI‑enabled tools to support security processes.
• Proven ability to manage projects and influence stakeholders in complex environments.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
