Cyber Security Risk Analyst – Dublin (Hybrid)

About the role

Our Dublin‑based client is seeking a Cyber Security Risk Analyst to join a growing security team on a permanent basis. The role is hybrid, requiring one day per week on‑site, and focuses on establishing a strong security posture across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for information security matters related to service delivery and operations.
• Promote security awareness and ensure policies, processes and standards are understood throughout the business.
• Identify, assess and monitor security risks in partnership with risk owners, applying appropriate controls throughout the service and system lifecycle.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls against organisational policies, regulatory obligations and industry standards.
• Develop, maintain and improve security policies, standards and procedures.
• Support third‑party risk management, defining and assessing security requirements for suppliers and outsourced services.
• Lead or contribute to security initiatives and improvement projects, driving automation and process enhancements.

Required profile

• A degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in information security or related IT roles with strong exposure to risk management, security frameworks and control design.
• Broad knowledge of security technologies, architectures and operational processes, including ISMS and recognised standards.
• Experience with data, reporting, automation or AI‑enabled tools to support security processes.
• Proven ability to manage projects and influence stakeholders in complex environments.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
