DevOps Engineer (Google Cloud)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and evolve modern cloud infrastructure that powers live, production gaming systems at scale. The role is fully remote within Europe and focuses on Google Cloud Platform, automation, and reliability to deliver high‑performance real‑time gaming experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Manage scalable workloads using Compute Engine and Cloud Run.
• Containerize applications with Docker for consistent deployments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or equivalent tools.
• Automate provisioning and management with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Improve system reliability, security, performance and observability.
• Collaborate with developers to optimise deployment workflows and release velocity.
• Monitor production systems and enhance observability using modern practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer supporting production systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Expertise in Docker and containerised environments.
• Solid experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or similar).
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
