Digital Architect

About the role

The Digital Architect at Zurich Life Ireland will shape the organisation’s digital landscape, designing end‑to‑end digital journeys for customers, brokers and corporate scheme owners. You will work in a fast‑moving financial services environment, translating business needs into secure, scalable digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and produce technical specifications.
• Design and implement robust, API‑driven solutions that integrate product rules engines, business rules platforms, calculation services, databases and policy administration systems.
• Manage enterprise integrations using tools such as Mulesoft, ensuring seamless data flow and decoupling front‑end experiences from back‑end services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, enforcing architectural standards and best practices.
• Ensure all solutions meet security, compliance and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong background in digital architecture and enterprise integration within the financial services sector.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality solutions in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Experience driving innovation and efficiency through technology.
