Electrical Maintenance Technician – County Clare

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to provide comprehensive electrical services across the County Clare region, covering sites from Limerick to Galway. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of building electrical systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with contractual KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical distribution boards, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm and security systems.
• Execute planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with contract specifications.
• Manage third‑party maintenance contracts and oversee permit‑to‑work processes.
• Update and maintain asset registers and historic records using the CMMS/CAFM system.
• Conduct weekly building walkthroughs to identify and prioritize electrical issues.
• Support large‑scale refurbishments, fit‑outs and new builds as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance within a facilities‑management environment.
• Ability to work independently, meet KPIs and adhere to health‑and‑safety standards.
• Strong organisational skills for managing tickets, assets and third‑party risk assessments.
