Site Engineer – Setting Out Projects in County Clare

About the role

We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our civil contracting team on a setting‑out project in County Clare, Ireland. The role involves accurate surveying, coordination of site activities and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out precise setting‑out and surveying tasks on‑site.
• Maintain high health, safety and permit standards.
• Provide regular progress updates to management and clients.
• Order materials and coordinate site activities.
• Review drawings and calculations for accuracy.
• Supervise setting‑out, levelling and surveying works.
• Use AutoCAD to verify site dimensions and drawings.
• Liaise with subcontractors and site management teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience in setting‑out on construction sites.
• Experience on high‑value projects in Ireland or the UK.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• AutoCAD.
• Use of total station surveying instruments.
• GPS surveying equipment.

What we offer

• Competitive salary €55,000‑€65,000 per year.
