Electrical QA/QC Engineer

About the role

The Electrical QA/QC Engineer will support the implementation and delivery of quality assurance and control processes across construction projects. Working on‑site, you will ensure installations, inspections and documentation meet design specifications, company standards and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections to verify installations against design specifications and quality standards.
• Support project teams in applying QA/QC procedures and monitor compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Maintain and store QA documentation, using digital platforms to record inspections and track progress.
• Assist in the preparation and review of mechanical and electrical test packs, verifying test results and certifications.
• Liaise with subcontractors to ensure QA requirements are understood and followed.
• Participate in site meetings to provide QA support and conduct internal audits to ensure alignment with industry standards.
• Support external audits and client inspections as required.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC, site engineering or construction, preferably within building services (M&E).
• Understanding of QA/QC processes, documentation and relevant industry standards.
• Relevant technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Construction (desirable).
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Effective communication skills for working with site teams and subcontractors.
