Employment Tax Manager

About the role

We are looking for a CTA‑qualified Employment Tax Manager to join our Group Tax function. You will work in a small, high‑performing team, providing commercial‑focused tax advice across our Irish and UK operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the go‑to employment tax advisor for business units, delivering proactive guidance.
• Participate in strategic projects and initiatives with high visibility across the organisation.
• Translate complex tax issues into plain English for HR, Finance and senior stakeholders.
• Manage employment tax risk across the group and hold external advisers accountable.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Oversee employment tax return filings, focusing on advisory work while HR handles routine compliance.

Required profile

• CTA qualification (essential).
• 3+ years of Irish employment tax experience, either in practice or industry.
• Solid understanding of employment tax issues relevant to a large banking or financial‑services group.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder instincts.
• Good IT proficiency.
