English Teacher (Long Service Leave Replacement)

About the role

Padua College is seeking an English Teacher for a fixed‑term, full‑ or part‑time position (negotiable) to cover a long service leave on the Mornington Campus. The appointment runs from 22 June 2026 to 18 September 2026 and involves delivering the secondary English curriculum within a contemporary Catholic co‑educational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the College curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with Learning Leaders, Assistant Heads, Deputy Principals and the Vice Principal to ensure curriculum consistency.
• Participate in pastoral care, student discipline and wellbeing initiatives.
• Manage classroom environments effectively and contribute to the broader school community.

Required profile

• Eligible to teach secondary English in Victoria.
• Willingness to work within Padua College’s Catholic values and core principles.
• Flexibility to work full‑ or part‑time as needed for the fixed‑term period.
