Field Service Engineer

About the role

Landmark Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver high‑quality onsite IT support to its clients across Ireland. The role involves troubleshooting, installing, configuring and maintaining client IT infrastructure while minimising disruption and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite technical support for desktop, server, network and peripheral infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues within client environments.
• Perform installations, upgrades, moves, adds, changes and disposals (IMACD) in line with SLAs.
• Act as a trusted point of contact during client visits and communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations to improve client IT environments and complete onsite technical assessments.
• Respond to escalated tickets requiring onsite intervention, troubleshoot complex issues and implement repeatable solutions.
• Maintain accurate ticket updates in PSA/ticketing systems.
• Assist with IT projects, including deployments, upgrades, migrations and cloud initiatives such as Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Document client environments and onsite activities, logging work and time correctly.
• Follow Landmark SOPs, security standards and best‑practice processes.

• Strong technical foundation with practical experience in hardware, devices and on‑premise environments.
• Client‑focused mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Hands‑on, problem‑solving attitude and commitment to delivering high‑quality service.
