Finance Manager – Financial Services (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role

This is a senior finance position within a leading financial services organisation in Ireland. The Finance Manager will own financial reporting, month‑end close, board reporting and drive process‑improvement initiatives while working closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs.
• Deliver detailed variance analysis and financial commentary.
• Support quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide executive and board‑level reporting.
• Ensure strong financial controls and balance‑sheet integrity.
• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
• Monitor financial performance and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Contribute to finance transformation and process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in financial reporting, management accounting or controllership.
• Strong understanding of month‑end close and financial controls.
• Advanced analytical ability with strong Excel skills.
• Confident presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders.
• Financial services experience advantageous but not essential.
