Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join the head‑office finance team in Dublin on a hybrid basis (three days on‑site). The role sits within a fast‑growing multinational environment and will support the strengthening of financial reporting, controls and systems as the business expands.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring accurate postings across revenue, costs, FX, pre‑payments, accruals, P&L and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Conduct detailed reviews to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Support compliance with financial policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Assist with group and local year‑end audits, including responding to internal audit queries.
• Identify, propose and help deliver process‑improvement and automation initiatives.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
• Build strong relationships across finance and the wider business to enhance reporting and control capabilities.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar accounting role within a multinational, fast‑growing organisation.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and compliance experience.
• Highly organised, detail‑focused with a continuous‑improvement mindset.

Required skills

• SAP – General Ledger and month‑end close functionality.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Power BI (advantage).
