Financial Controller

About the role

Clorox is seeking a Financial Controller for its Global Business Services (GBS) and Clorox Ireland Limited. The role is responsible for end‑to‑end financial control, statutory compliance and governance of the Irish legal entity while supporting the broader GBS organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month‑end close, forecasting, and financial reporting for Clorox Ireland.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Irish statutory and VAT requirements, and Clorox SOX and internal control standards.
• Coordinate statutory reporting, audits and tax filings with external advisors.
• Partner with Corporate Accounting, Tax, Treasury and GBS stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in finance processes.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity and robust internal controls.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with 10+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience preparing legal‑entity financial statements, statutory reporting and audits.
• Strong understanding of Irish statutory, VAT and tax requirements.
• Experience with SOX/ICFR controls and multinational shared‑services environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
