Financial Controller – Real Estate

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Financial Controller/Finance Director to lead the finance function for a fast‑growing commercial real estate firm in Dublin. Working directly with the Managing Director and CFO, you will support acquisitions, portfolio management and scaling of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full finance function across the portfolio, including SPVs, holding structures and property‑level entities.
• Support new acquisitions through financial modelling, structuring and execution.
• Manage treasury, debt facilities and lender relationships.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management at asset and portfolio level.
• Monitor portfolio performance – yields, IRR, returns and covenant compliance.
• Oversee a lean internal finance team and coordinate multiple external advisors.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with approximately 10 years post‑qualification experience.
• Background in real estate, property investment, private‑equity real estate or investment management.
• Technically strong with hands‑on experience in reporting, treasury, tax and debt.
• Commercially minded and comfortable being close to deals and influencing decisions.
• Thrives in a lean, entrepreneurial environment where ownership and initiative are valued.
