Financial Reporting Manager – 12‑Month Fixed-Term (Dublin)

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position is for a Financial Reporting Manager within a leading professional services firm in Dublin. The role is hands‑on, overseeing month‑end close, statutory reporting and audit delivery while partnering with senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver accurate month‑end close, ensuring integrity of financial reporting.
• Prepare and review management accounts, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Manage year‑end statutory accounts preparation and coordinate the external audit process end‑to‑end.
• Oversee cash‑flow reporting, banking oversight, reconciliations and core control processes.
• Provide commercial insight and analysis as a finance partner to senior leaders.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, VIES, CSO, 46G and other regulatory filings.
• Drive improvements in reporting processes, systems and internal controls.
• Guide and support the finance team, with potential supervision of a junior accountant.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 4+ years of experience.
• Strong background in financial reporting, statutory accounts and audit management.
• Experience in professional services or a similarly complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Confident communicator able to engage with partners and senior management.
• Robust technical understanding of FRS 102, Irish tax and VAT requirements.
