Frontend Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Front End Developer to join a high‑performing engineering team within a scaling FinTech organisation. The role offers real ownership of a business‑critical SaaS platform, working closely with UX, backend, and product teams in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and enhance user‑facing features in a complex, workflow‑intensive SaaS application.
• Develop Angular components, modules, and services following best practices.
• Translate UX designs and prototypes into polished, performant interfaces.
• Integrate frontend features with backend APIs and services.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and knowledge sharing.
• Identify and implement usability and performance improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience building web applications with Angular, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, web standards, and UX principles.
• EU citizenship or eligible visa status and permanent residence in Ireland.

Required skills

• Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript.
• RxJS and state‑management solutions (NgRx or Redux).
• CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
• Testing frameworks – Playwright (preferred), Jest, Jasmine/Karma, Cypress.
• REST API integration.
• Authentication/authorisation standards – OAuth2, OpenID Connect.
