Full-Stack AI Engineer (Contract) – Dublin

About the role

We are seeking a Full‑Stack AI Engineer on an 11‑month contract to design, build, and deliver production‑grade Generative AI applications. The role blends hands‑on development with knowledge transfer, enabling internal teams to adopt cutting‑edge AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement GenAI applications on AWS Bedrock, including multi‑agent workflows and knowledge‑base integration.
• Develop and optimise Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, handling embedding models, vector stores, chunking and parsing strategies.
• Fine‑tune large language models for performance and efficiency in real‑world scenarios.
• Build full‑stack features using Python (FastAPI) and React, supporting real‑time and streaming interfaces.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB) and maintain AWS infrastructure via CDK and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deliver training sessions and create clear documentation to upskill teams on AI tooling and workflows.

Required profile

• Proven track record shipping production GenAI applications and deep experience with AWS Bedrock.
• Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to both engineers and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Self‑directed, collaborative mindset with a passion for teaching and enabling others.
