Full-Time Physiotherapist – Munster Nursing Homes

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated full‑time Physiotherapist to join our Munster nursing homes. The role involves delivering high‑quality physiotherapy services to residents, supporting their mobility, pain management and overall well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and analyse the impact of illness, injury or inactivity on each resident’s functional ability.
• Develop, implement and regularly review individualized treatment plans aligned with residents’ goals and health status.
• Deliver interventions such as exercise, mobilisation, manual handling and other techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain and promote independence.
• Support residents after surgery, accidents, strokes or other injuries, and assist with joint and spinal problems.
• Evaluate outcomes using measurable indicators and adjust treatment accordingly.
• Educate residents, families and staff on prevention and improvement of conditions.
• Participate in the management of the physiotherapy service, staff induction, training and monitoring of manual handling practices.

Required profile

• Qualified physiotherapist with a passion for resident‑centred care.
• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
• Ability to develop evidence‑based treatment plans and adjust them as needed.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and research.
