Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will lead the finance function for a fast‑growing healthcare company, supporting the Group CFO and shaping financial strategy across multiple acquisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with directors, board members, investors, HR, Operations and Facility Management.
• Lead negotiations on rates with key clients, including the HSE.
• Support the Group CFO in delivering stakeholder goals, accurate reporting and key projects.
• Prepare management accounts and analyse financial data with insightful commentary.
• Perform financial modelling, including M&A scenarios.
• Set up and monitor internal controls, manage day‑to‑day tax compliance and statutory audits.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification with a minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• At least 3 years of Irish accounting experience, including Irish tax compliance.
• Proven track record of delivering finance projects.
• Previous experience in healthcare, hospitality or a similar industry.
• Right to work in Ireland and ability to attend the office 2‑3 days per week.
