Head of Group Financial Reporting

About the role

The Head of Group Financial Reporting will lead the finance reporting function for a multi‑entity organisation operating in Ireland and the UK. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate consolidated accounts, ensuring statutory compliance and driving continuous improvement across the reporting process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, including inter‑company reconciliations.
• Oversee the annual external audit from planning to completion.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and treasury activities across the group.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, reporting standards and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
• Drive automation, process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
• Provide board reporting and financial insight to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (AC, ACCA, CIMA or CPA).
• Minimum 5 years of senior financial reporting experience.
• Proven ability to work at senior level with the senior leadership team.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and consolidation expertise.
