Head of Operations – Nationwide

About the role

Excel Recruitment is partnering with a fast‑growing fast‑food brand to find a high‑calibre Head of Operations. You will own the operational strategy and lead the nationwide rollout of a new concept across multiple locations in Ireland, shaping the business from its early stages.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the operational strategy and lead end‑to‑end rollout of new sites.
• Drive brand expansion nationwide while maintaining exceptional quality, service and customer experience.
• Design, implement and continuously refine operational policies, systems and best practices for scalable growth.
• Build, lead and inspire high‑performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and development.
• Oversee all financial aspects, including budgeting, cost control and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety and all regulatory requirements.
• Act as a brand ambassador, promoting innovation, efficiency and a customer‑first mindset.
• Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to strengthen brand presence and drive engagement.
• Analyse performance metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven senior operational leadership experience (Director of Operations, Head of Operations, Regional Manager) in food service or hospitality.
• Successful track record scaling multi‑site operations or launching new concepts.
• Strong strategic mindset with ability to translate vision into execution.
• Exceptional leadership with experience developing high‑performing teams.
• Commercially astute with solid financial acumen and budget management experience.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to travel nationwide as required.
