Health & Safety Officer

About the role

Townmore is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Officer to support HSEQ excellence across a rapidly expanding construction portfolio in Dublin. This intermediate‑level position offers the chance to work on high‑value residential, commercial, and life‑science projects while developing a broad skill set in a dynamic, agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, audits and toolbox talks to promote a collaborative safety culture.
• Support RAMS reviews, risk assessments and preparation of site‑specific safety documentation in line with Irish statutory regulations.
• Investigate near‑misses and incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective action plans.
• Partner with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors and the central HSEQ function to maintain elite safety standards.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in a construction Health & Safety role, preferably within a main‑contractor environment.
• Relevant H&S qualification (Level 7 or 8 preferred) and valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling and CIF Safety Officer certifications.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and construction regulations.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with Procore, HammerTech or similar HSEQ platforms is a distinct advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to learn from senior HSEQ professionals.
