About the role

Join BrookLodge & Macreddin Village, an award‑winning hotel in the Wicklow countryside, as a Housekeeping Assistant. You will help maintain guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to premium standards.
• Replenish guest amenities and supplies as needed.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance or cleanliness issues and report them.
• Follow health, safety, and hotel policies at all times.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the accommodation and housekeeping teams for smooth daily operations.
• Report lost property and any room discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Assist with laundry duties and proper handling of cleaning equipment.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping or accommodation experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and time‑management skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.
• Friendly, professional, and customer‑focused attitude.
