About the role

Affidea Group is seeking an HR Generalist to join its Head Office in Dublin 12. The role will support employee relations, organisational development and HR operations across a network of diagnostic imaging and minor injuries centres, with regular travel to clinic locations.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance and investigation processes.
  • Advise managers on legal requirements and best practices for workplace policies.
  • Conduct investigations into employee grievances and workplace disputes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.
  • Facilitate transparent communication between staff and management.
  • Conduct new‑hire inductions and maintain the training matrix to meet JCI requirements.
  • Coordinate individual training requests and support recruitment campaigns as needed.
  • Administer the company’s time‑management system (Softworks) and maintain employee files.
  • Enhance onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including exit interviews and retention analysis.
  • Review and validate payroll inputs, ensure data integrity between HR and payroll systems, and support payroll queries.

Required profile

  • Diploma in HR or a related field.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification.
  • Minimum 4 years experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience with grievance and disciplinary processes.
  • Thorough knowledge of employer/employee legislation.
  • Excellent people‑management and stakeholder‑influence skills.

Required skills

  • Experience using Softworks time‑management system.
  • Familiarity with JCI training requirements.
  • Strong investigative and conflict‑resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR administration and payroll support.
