Internal Auditor – Global Engineering Firm

About the role

PM Group is seeking an Internal Auditor to join its group‑wide Internal Audit function. Working closely with the Head of Internal Audit, you will help deliver the annual audit plan, provide independent assurance, and support risk‑based decision making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete reviews of financial and operational processes in line with the Internal Audit Plan.
• Prepare detailed working papers, draft concise audit reports and obtain management responses.
• Offer insights, challenge existing controls and ensure timely implementation of recommendations.
• Perform follow‑up audits to verify that action plans from internal and external audits are effective.
• Assist in preparing communications for the Audit Committee and senior management.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Legal and business unit heads to strengthen governance, risk management and internal controls.
• Liaise with external auditors as required and promote strong internal control practices across the group.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to influence stakeholders across cultures.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Solid commercial acumen and ability to understand business processes.
