IT Applications Administrator (Microsoft 365 & Identity)

About the role

As an IT Applications Administrator at Sony Interactive Entertainment, you will ensure the stability and performance of Microsoft 365 and identity services for a global user base. The role blends reactive incident handling with proactive platform improvement, supporting core collaboration and security tools.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily administration and operational support for Microsoft 365 and Entra ID services.
• Triage and resolve incidents and service requests across identity, messaging, collaboration, and access platforms.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and implement long‑term remediation to reduce recurring issues.
• Maintain identity lifecycle processes, RBAC, privileged role governance, Conditional Access, MFA, and authentication policies.
• Configure Exchange Online mail flow, transport rules, mailbox permissions, and email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, anti‑spam/phishing).
• Operate within an ITSM framework (ServiceNow or Jira Service Management) and manage tickets according to SLAs.
• Develop dashboards, reporting, runbooks, and knowledge documentation.
• Create and maintain PowerShell automation and Microsoft Graph integrations for identity and service management.

Required profile

• Strong operational rigor with experience in structured IT service management environments.
• Ability to balance reactive support with proactive platform improvement.
• Excellent analytical skills for root‑cause analysis and remediation planning.
• Comfort working with enterprise‑scale Microsoft cloud services.
