IT Support Engineer – Critical Go‑Live Support (6‑month contract)

About the role

Our Dublin‑based client is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide on‑site and remote support during a critical six‑month go‑live phase. You will ensure a smooth rollout, quickly resolve issues and help maintain stable IT services as operations scale.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site and remote IT support throughout the go‑live period.
• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot Windows environments, including Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Manage device provisioning, patching and software deployment using SCCM, Intune and Windows Autopatch.
• Act as the primary point of contact for incidents and service requests, ensuring prompt resolution with minimal business impact.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation for systems, configurations and incident resolutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell scripting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT support or operations.
• Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Solid expertise in endpoint management and patching tools such as SCCM and Intune.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting is required.
• Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
