IT Support Engineer – Level 2 (Dublin)

About the role

We are looking for a Level 2 IT Support Engineer to join a growing team in Dublin City Centre. The role is permanent, fully onsite and focuses on supporting and maintaining a Microsoft‑based IT environment for a professional services firm.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and remote users.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange Online.
• Manage Azure, Entra ID, Intune, MFA and user access permissions.
• Diagnose Windows 10/11 issues, networking, VPN, printers and hardware problems.
• Assist with server tasks, Active Directory, patch management and backup operations.
• Support cybersecurity measures, endpoint protection and compliance standards.
• Participate in IT projects, system upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Strong background in Windows desktop support and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Intune/Endpoint Manager and Entra ID.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP).
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Experience in a legal or professional services setting is desirable.
• Relevant IT qualification or equivalent experience; Microsoft certifications are a plus.
