IT Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to deliver high-quality technical assistance to our clients, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations. You will work closely with customers to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and maintain strong relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to identify problems and develop effective technical solutions.
• Respond to or escalate support calls within defined timeframes.
• Install, configure, and maintain client systems including PCs and mobile phones.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand service agreements.
• Assist in creating and improving test and repair processes.
• Liaise with help desks and support centers to ensure seamless issue resolution.
• Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution on a variety of hardware and software issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a field service or similar technical support role.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective time-management and teamwork skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable using mobile tools and applications for field work.

Required skills

• PC hardware installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Mobile device (smartphone/tablet) support and repair.
• Troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
