Junior HR Business Partner (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior HR Business Partner to join Marsh’s People function in Ireland. Working on a hybrid schedule (minimum three days in the office), you will support People Managers across the country and help deliver HR services that drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the rollout and adoption of enterprise‑wide HR programmes and initiatives.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance to managers on performance management, learning and development, succession planning, leave management and total rewards.
• Support employee‑relations processes, including performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and grievance handling, in partnership with senior HR colleagues.
• Contribute to change‑management projects, organisational effectiveness activities and colleague engagement surveys.
• Collaborate with Finance, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and other functional teams to align people strategies with business objectives.
• Help ensure compliance with local regulatory and statutory requirements and assist with related reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant HR experience.
• Relevant HR qualification or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently on routine matters and recognise when to seek senior guidance.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HR best practices and Irish employment legislation.
