Junior Project Engineer – HVAC Systems

About the role

FläktGroup Ireland is looking for a motivated Junior Project Engineer to support the design, selection and documentation of Air Handling Units (AHUs) for pharmaceutical clients. Based in our Cork office, you will work closely with global sales and project teams to ensure reliable, high‑quality HVAC solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Use selection software to size and choose AHUs and related components.
• Contact suppliers for technical data and quotations.
• Review supplier sub‑mittals for compliance with project and client specifications.
• Compile and format all required documentation for client hand‑over files.
• Support global teams with technical expertise and coordinate project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management or a related technical discipline.
• 1‑2 years of professional experience in engineering, technical support or project execution.
• Experience or exposure to HVAC systems, especially AHUs, is a plus.
• Ability to work in a regulated, high‑quality manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical sector) is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with technical selection software for HVAC equipment.
• Strong command of standard office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Excellent technical English.
• German language skills for factory communication.
