Lead Building Roof and Facade Designer & Coordinator

About the role

Nolan BIMtech Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Lead Building Roof and Facade Designer & Coordinator to drive full envelope design, detailing and project coordination across European projects. Based in Dublin with hybrid working, the role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on technical execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and detailing of roofing systems, including flat, pitched, bitumen, PVC and metal solutions.
• Develop and coordinate cladding specifications, insulated panels, fire‑rated systems and rainscreen solutions.
• Manage glazing design, curtain walling and window frame coordination.
• Integrate and coordinate ancillary envelope elements such as louvers, brise‑soleil, doors and ironmongery.
• Prepare and oversee product submittals, ensuring compliance with European building regulations and codes.
• Collaborate with design management teams and support multiple concurrent projects.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of proven experience delivering full building envelope projects.
• Strong knowledge of European building regulations, codes and fire‑rating requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent English communication skills and a valid driving licence.
• Willingness to travel within the EU for project coordination.

Required skills

• Advanced Revit modelling and detailing.
• Familiarity with BIM processes (preferred).
