Lecturer – Supply Chain Management with AI

About the role

We are seeking a Lecturer to join the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) to teach and develop courses in Supply Chain Management with a focus on Artificial Intelligence. The position is based primarily at the Midlands campus and will involve occasional engagement with other TUS campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures and seminars on supply chain management and AI applications.
• Design and update curricula, learning materials and assessment methods.
• Supervise student projects, dissertations and research activities.
• Conduct research in supply chain analytics, AI integration and related fields, contributing to the university’s research profile.
• Collaborate with academic colleagues across campuses and industry partners.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualification (PhD or Master’s) in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, AI, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at university level.
• Strong research record or potential in supply chain analytics and AI.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi‑campus environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and AI techniques.
• Experience with data‑driven analysis and modelling.
• Proficiency in academic writing and presentation.
