Level 2 IT Help Desk Analyst – Kilkenny (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Service Desk Analyst to join a well‑established IT team in Kilkenny. Working in a hybrid setting, you will act as the escalation point for junior analysts and ensure technical issues are resolved efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune and Azure AD.
• Monitor and troubleshoot server and network infrastructure.
• Manage endpoints and perform routine security and backup checks.
• Serve as the escalation point for Level 1 analysts, taking ownership of incidents through to resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve client systems and enhance cyber‑security posture.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse client base.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in a Level 2 IT support or similar role.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Azure AD).
• Windows 10 and Windows 11 support.
• Active Directory and Azure Active Directory management.
• Networking fundamentals – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Endpoint management with Intune.
