Maintenance / Facility Technician – Manufacturing

About the role

Join a high‑performance manufacturing team as a Maintenance / Facility Technician. You will work alongside engineering and production colleagues to keep machinery, equipment and facility systems running smoothly, using an asset management system such as Maximo. This hands‑on position offers strong growth potential for those who enjoy technical challenges and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repair and rebuild work on production machinery and facility infrastructure.
• Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely through routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and keep production on schedule.
• Work directly on the factory floor in a hands‑on environment.
• Manage tools and spare‑parts inventory, ordering replacements as needed.
• Follow a 2‑cycle shift schedule with a future transition to a 4‑cycle pattern.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a maintenance or technical role within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with asset‑management systems such as Maximo (training will be provided).
• Strong troubleshooting, mechanical and problem‑solving abilities.
