Maintenance Technician – Field Service (Leixlip, Ireland)

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician you will be based at our customer site in Leixlip, Ireland, delivering implementation, start‑up and service of Ebara Precision Machinery equipment. You will ensure the reliable operation of production assets such as pump racks, vacuum pumps, gas‑abatement and trace‑heating systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance and start‑up of pump rack systems, vacuum pumps, gas‑abatement and trace‑heating equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance and IQ activities with customers, third‑party contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software equipment issues, ensuring equipment is production‑ready before hand‑over.
• Accurately record all activities in prescribed systems and complete routine preventive‑maintenance tasks following documented procedures.
• Escalate technical problems when required and flag any issues that could impact maintenance schedules.
• Adhere to site health, safety and environmental requirements and participate in planning meetings.

Required profile

• L6 qualification in a relevant technical discipline (mechanical, electrical or instrumentation).
• Hands‑on approach to technical problem solving with experience in equipment maintenance preferred.
• Experience with low‑voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and electrical circuit diagrams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts covering days, nights and weekends.
• IT literate.
