Maintenance Worker

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Maintenance Worker to join our residential service team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, fixtures, and the building to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the people we support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance duties across the residential service, including equipment and building repairs.
• Identify when external professionals are required and advise local management.
• Meet regularly with service management to schedule work and prioritize issues.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards and ensure fire safety regulations are up to date.
• Liaise with outside contractors and monitor annual service contracts for timely completion.
• Provide cost‑effective maintenance solutions and support the overall residential team.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• QQI in Horticulture is advantageous but not essential.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• Legal right to work and live in Ireland.
• Fluent in English.
• Positive attitude, personal integrity and a desire for professional development.
• Willingness to embrace change and contribute to continuous improvement.
