Managing Pharmacist – O'Connell Street

About the role

We are seeking a Managing Pharmacist to lead the Allcare Pharmacy team on O’Connell Street, Dublin. Working 45 hours per week during store hours (9 am‑6 pm, Monday‑Saturday), you will ensure professional pharmacy services, compliance and excellent customer care.

Key responsibilities

• Observe statutory regulations under the Pharmacy Act 2007 and maintain professional standards.
• Lead health‑promotion programmes and implement pharmaceutical care initiatives.
• Oversee continuing education and CPD for the pharmacy team.
• Maintain stock control, receipt, documentation and security of medicines and pharmacy property.
• Ensure health‑and‑safety compliance and confidentiality of business information.
• Manage Department of Health schemes (DPS, LTI, GMS), monthly submissions and reconciliations.
• Support the Store Manager with retail standards, merchandising and category management.

Required profile

• Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland with at least 3 years post‑registration experience.
• Preferably 1‑2 years experience as a Supervising Pharmacist.
• Strong attention to detail, communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
