Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Equipment Maintenance Technician ensures optimal performance of automated manufacturing equipment through set‑up, installation, maintenance and technical support. Working on the C shift (Thursday to Sunday), you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues, improve run rates and uphold quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical equipment failures.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and equipment refurbishments.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and record downtime incidents.
• Coordinate equipment repairs with other departments and communicate potential capacity or quality impacts.
• Support process engineers in continuous improvement projects targeting yield, cycle time and process stability.
• Provide training and assistance to technicians and operators.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience as a technician in a high‑volume automated environment.
• Certificate/Diploma or senior trades qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of equipment set‑up, operation and maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team.
