MES Designer – Life Sciences (Hybrid, Dublin or Cork)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MES Designer to join our life sciences team in Dublin or Cork. You will work at the forefront of manufacturing digitalisation, designing and implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems for leading pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement MES solutions for life‑science manufacturing environments.
• Collaborate with clients and technical teams to define user requirements and deliver high‑impact digital manufacturing solutions.
• Author and configure Electronic Batch Records (EBR) within MES platforms.
• Support integration of MES systems with ERP platforms and shop‑floor control equipment.
• Document MES configurations and support validation activities in line with regulated industry requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on MES experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or life‑sciences manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of FDA, GMP and Software Development Life Cycle practices.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience in cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Experience with at least one MES platform such as Körber PAS‑X, Emerson Syncade, Rockwell PharmaSuite, Siemens XFP, POMS or Camstar.
